My medical career began with the dopamine-addicted world of Emergency Medicine, which I now utilise as a faculty member of the Resuscitation Council of South Africa, teaching advanced resuscitation and emergency management to fellow doctors.
Over time, I realised that the complaints that landed patients in emergency departments often stemmed from underlying issues hidden far back in their lives, and I discovered my true interest lies in connecting with patients one-on-one.
I understand that everyone’s journey is different - especially when it comes to health and wellness. As someone who has personally navigated PCOS, AuDHD, anxiety, and the challenges of managing my own hormonal and metabolic health, I have a deep understanding of what it’s like to seek care that doesn’t seem readily available.
As a late diagnosed AuDHDer, I am still learning about how this aspect of myself informs my health, and am privileged to learn this alongside many of my patients. My approach as a doctor combines the latest science based interventions along with the lived experience of both myself, my community, and my clients as well as a focus on narrative medicine. I see my role as providing options, with education and informed consent being my top priority, so you can make your own choices.
I also bring a unique perspective to my practice, shaped by my qualifications in disability studies and obstetrics, as well as my personal connection to the disability community.

I have tried my best to create a practice that’s rooted in trauma-informed, sex-positive, queer and neurodivergent-led care. This means you can trust that your experience here will be supportive, non-judgmental, and centred on your dignity and autonomy. I offer a variety of services designed for people who have historically felt marginalized or misunderstood in healthcare settings.
In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting, brunching, talking about my cats, romantic weekend getaways, non-fiction, and 90's hip hop.
STI screenings, Pap smears and discussions around HPV, contraceptive counselling, medical termination, pelvic pain, erectile challenges, and management of recurrent bladder infections or thrush. My practice is non-monogamy friendly and kink-aware, and I am committed to providing care that respects your sexual autonomy and unique relationship dynamics.
Supporting all genders, including trans and gender diverse individuals through every stage of life. From puberty to menopause, including hormonal optimisation therapy, I focus on empowering you with the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about your health.

Diagnosis and discussions around ADHD, Autism and others, as well as the whole body understanding of these neurotypes. Helping clients discover these hidden parts of themselves which allow for understanding and self compassion is what gets me out of bed in the morning. I have a special interest in working with clients with anxiety, fatigue, chronic pain, hypermobility and all other parts of being neuroqueer.

Metabolic conditions like insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes are increasingly common, and they often go hand-in-hand with hormonal imbalances like those found in PCOS. Together, we’ll focus on restoring balance to your metabolism, supporting long-term health, and preventing complications associated with metabolic diseases.

At this time I am not able to help clients who are experiencing symptoms of contagious illnesses - such as gastro or the flu. This is because my practice is shared with a mental health only practice, and so we wish to limit the amount of contagions between our clients. I specialise in chronic conditions that are not transferred between people. If you are unsure, please do contact me for more information.
